Parton Lumber
Company has achieved constant growth since it was founded in
1948 until now. Third generation Parton family members own
and manage the company which currently has 135 employees and
manufactures 53 million board feet annually at its main
facility in Rutherfordton, North Carolina.
Located in
the heart of the Appalachian hardwood region, Parton Lumber
has ready access to the choice hardwoods and white pine
growing on the highest elevations in the Eastern United
States. The colder growing climate results in closer annual
growth rings that produce finer textured lumber. Parton
Lumber is a major producer of high quality Appalachian
hardwood, selling rough and surfaced hardwoods to small
companies as well as major corporations. Nature provides the
climate for some of the world's most beautiful woods. Parton
Lumber enhances this natural beauty with painstaking
processing to produce quality products.
